What Is Strawberry Agua Fresca?
Agua Fresca, a beloved Mexican beverage, is a simple yet refreshing concoction that encapsulates the essence of natural, fruity goodness.
A basic Agua Fresca recipe consists of fresh fruit (in today’s case, fresh strawberries), fresh water, and a touch of sweetness (usually agave nectar or granulated sugar).
There are MANY variations for agua fresca, mostly the type of fruit that you choose to use. Strawberry agua fresca is arguably one of the most popular fruit flavors, but many people also opt for watermelons, pineapples, and peaches.
For those craving a little extra zing, a squeeze of fresh lime juice can be added, infusing the beverage with a lively burst of citrus flavor.

- Milk: I used milk to give the Agua de Fresa Con Leche a creamy texture
- Evaporated Milk And Whole Milk: I used two types of milk to create an extra creamy taste and texture.
- Vanilla Extract: Vanilla extract is totally optional, but I added it just for a little extra flavor.

This drink was so refreshing on a hot summer day by the pool. I added a shot (for a small cup) or two (for a large cup) of coconut spiced rum to it too and it was so scrumptious. This is my new favorite summer drink and even encouraged me to be a poolside bartender lol!
