Pineapple Hibiscus Juice | Jugo de Piña con Jamaica (Video)
This pineapple hibiscus juice is fruity, refreshing, and beautifully colorful. Sweet pineapple balances the slightly tart flavor of Jamaica, while cinnamon adds a warm note that makes the drink a little more special.

💛 Jessica made this Jugo de Piña con Jamaica for us at La Cocina de Keesha Studio. She blends and strains half of the pineapple, then adds the remaining fruit in small pieces so every glass gets a little fresh pineapple too.

Why Jessica Steeps the Jamaica Instead of Boiling It
Jessica adds the dried hibiscus to boiling water, then turns off the heat and lets it steep.
This is a gentle way to extract the color and flavor of the Jamaica without keeping it at a hard boil for a long time.

Tips & Tricks
- Do not overboil the Jamaica: Add the hibiscus to boiling water, then remove it from the heat and let it steep.
- Strain the pineapple: This gives the finished drink a smoother texture.
- Serve it very cold: Chill the juice well and add ice just before serving.

How to Store
Keep the juice covered in the refrigerator for up to 2 to 3 days. Stir well before serving because some natural separation may occur.

- Combine: Strain the Jamaica mixture if needed, then combine it with the pineapple juice.
- Sweeten: Add 1 cup granulated sugar and stir until completely dissolved.
- Add the Pineapple Pieces: Stir in the reserved diced pineapple.
- Chill and Serve: Refrigerate until very cold, then serve over ice with some pineapple pieces in each glass.
