Pineapple Papaya Smoothie

My pineapple papaya smoothie is the perfect sweet, healthy morning pick-me-up to give your day the best start possible. It’s a blend of some of my favorite tropical fruits and your body will be feeling great all day. Papaya is an underused fruit in my opinion, especially given all the health benefits you get from it. It’s rich in vitamin A and antioxidants which are fantastic for eye health.

They are high in fiber so great for your digestion, and they also have anti-aging benefits from the high levels of Vitamin C and E. We all know Vitamin C is great for your immunity, but it’s also great for your heart health.

The pineapple brings a wonderfully sharp sweetness to the smoothie as well as its own host of incredible health benefits. Pineapple is full of antioxidants and micronutrients that are essential for keeping you healthy. If you’re a keen exerciser then pineapple is also great for speeding your body’s recovery.

Papaya and pineapple work so well together in this smoothie, the papaya is smooth and subtle and the pineapple is sharp and tangy. The touch of vanilla and cinnamon helps balance and highlight the flavors even more. I keep this smoothie vegan with almond milk, which honestly brings a lovely nutty undertone to help balance the sharp sweetness as well as keep everything healthy

Excellent! I live in Costa Rica so Iโ€™ve been trying to take advantage of the beautiful fruit. The only thing I added was a little strawberry yogurt.
