This Brazilian homemade lemonade recipe is incredibly easy to make and the perfect refreshing drink on a hot day. It is packed with flavor and both of these recipes are extraordinarily versatile!
To start your Brazilian homemade lemonade recipe, wash the limes and cut them into pieces. If you prefer to juice them instead of using the entire fruits, you can do so as well.
Next, combine the lime pieces or the freshly squeezed lemon juice with water, sugar, and condensed milk. Adding these to a pitcher is more convenient. Whisk the ingredients together until they are well combined.
Pass the mixture through a sieve into a large jug.
Finally, pour the lemonade into ice-filled glasses and serve it immediately.
Brazilian Lemonade With Coconut Milk
For the second version of Brazilian homemade lemonade, we will make lemonade slushy. To start, again, either cut the limes if you like the zesty flavor or juice all of your limes.
Then, combine the limes or the lime juice, condensed milk, brown sugar, coconut milk, and water in a blender.
Blend the ingredients and then pass the mixture through a sieve.
Add the ice and blend again until you have a uniform slushy mixture.
Serve it immediately while it's still semi-frozen. If you don't want to or have any leftover lemonade slushy, store it inside the freezer. You will need to re-blend it before serving it again.
