Ingredients

  • 4 large passion fruits, pulp removed
  • ½ cup oats
  • cups water (1 liter)
  • ¼ cup sugar, or honey to taste
  • Ice, for serving, optional

Instructions

  • Scoop the passion fruit pulp into a bowl and have the oats, water, and sweetener ready to go.
  • Add the passion fruit pulp, oats, and water to a blender. Blend until the oats are broken down and the drink starts to look creamy.
  • Pour everything through a fine-mesh strainer into a pitcher. Use a spoon to press the mixture through so you get as much of that creamy juice as possible.
  • Stir in sugar or honey to taste. Passion fruit can be nice and tangy, so adjust the sweetness depending on how you like it.
  • If the juice feels a little too thick, add a splash of cold water and stir again.
  • Pour over plenty of ice and enjoy it right away while it is cold, creamy, and fresh.
