Ingredients

Churros

  • 1 Cup Water
  • 2 Tbsp Sugar
  • A pinch of Salt
  • ¼ cup Butter
  • 5 oz Flour

For the Chocolate Sauce

  • cup Water
  • 2 Tbsp Chocolate
  • 1 tsp Cornstarch
  • 2 tsp Sugar

Instructions

  • In a saucepan, combine water, sugar, salt, and butter. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  • Remove the saucepan from heat and immediately add the flour, stirring constantly until a smooth, thick paste-like mixture forms.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, making sure to mix them thoroughly after each addition until they are fully incorporated.
  • Transfer the churro dough to a pastry bag fitted with a large star-tip nozzle.
  • Pipe the churros onto parchment paper, shaping them into the desired length.
  • Carefully place the churros into the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
  • Cook the churros in the air fryer at 370°F for 10-13 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy.
  • While the churros are cooking, prepare the chocolate sauce. In a separate saucepan, combine water, chocolate, cornstarch, and sugar. Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring constantly until it thickens into a smooth sauce.
  • Once the churros are done, serve them warm with the chocolate sauce for dipping.
