Effortless and easy tiramisu of creamy mascarpone and coffee-soaked ladyfingers, yet glamorous in their pretty individual portions, try this recipe for your next dinner party!
Pour the heavy cream into a mixing bowl and beat on medium speed with an electric mixer (or use a stand mixer).
Slowly add the sugar and vanilla and continue to beat until the cream forms stiff peaks.
Add the mascarpone cheese and fold together until just combined. Set aside. Pour the coffee into a shallow bowl.
Dip the ladyfingers in the coffee (don't soak them - just quickly dip them on both sides to get them wet) and lay them in a single layer on the bottom of 10 individual glasses - you may have to break them up.
Smooth half of the mascarpone mixture over the top. Add another layer of dipped ladyfingers.
Smooth the remaining mascarpone cream over the top. Dust generously with cocoa powder (I use a fine mesh strainer to do this). Refrigerate for at least 3-4 hours or overnight before serving.
