Indulge yourself in this deep-fried Oreo ice cream and you will find yourself in heaven. Crunchy and golden brown, this deep-fried Oreo ice cream is insanely good and I bet you won't just stop at one.
Begin by wrapping the Oreo ice cream sandwich in the pastry dough and cover on all sides. Place in the freezer for a minimum of 2 hours or until frozen. (Freezing is important as it allows the outer shell to crisp up while the ice cream inside stays soft)
Once they are frozen, keep in the freezer while you heat the oil to the recommended temperature.
When the oil has reached temperature, immerse the dough covered Oreo ice cream in the oil and fry for 2-3 minutes per side. You're looking for a golden brown color.
Take them out and place them on a paper towel lined plate to remove excess oil.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar and decorate with some blueberry or drizzle with chocolate sauce.
Serve warm and enjoy!
