Creamy Batido De Trigo (Cuban Puffed Wheat Milkshake)

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups trigo (puffed wheat cereal)
  • 1/4 cup condensed milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp fine salt
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup ice

Instructions
 

  • Place the puffed wheat cereal grains inside the blender.
  • Then, add the sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, fine salt, and whole milk.
  • Blend the ingredients together until you have a completely smooth and lump-free liquid. It won't be very thick.
  • Add the ice and pulse the mixture again. Once the ice is turned to slush, you will be left with a rich and creamy milkshake.
  • Pour the milkshake into a milkshake glass and garnish it as you'd like. At the very least you should add some additional puffed wheat and cinnamon powder. It really adds a ton of texture and is visually more appealing.
