Once you’ve got the spice blend ready, follow my simple steps to make your own crispy, sweet fried corn that’s just as good, if not better!

STEP 1

Make the Cajun spice mix. Combine all of the spices and herbs and mix them well so the flavors are evenly distributed. Set it aside.

STEP 2

Next, prepare the corn. Remove the husks and take off any stringy pieces. Cut each ear of corn into 4 pieces.

STEP 3

Once the oil is heated, add two to three pieces of corn at a time. Leave them to fry for about 2-4 minutes or until they are crispy and golden brown in color.

STEP 4

Remove the corn from the oil and leave it to drain on a couple of pieces of paper towel. Repeat the process with all of the corn pieces.
