Starwberry Spinach Smoothie

Smoothies are an incredible way of getting a whole lot of goodness into your body in an easily digestible way. More importantly, they taste amazing.

Spinach is a superfood, and it is something we should be all eating more of. It’s incredibly rich in some very essential nutrients like calcium, magnesium, and Iron. The list of things that spinach can help with to keep our bodies healthy is pretty incredible too. It aids in good bone health, reduces blood sugars, it is great for weight loss. It also reduces hypertension (or high blood pressure), it has anti-inflammatory properties.

Honestly not enough can be said about how good spinach is for you and how you should be eating it every day. In order to get the most out of the nutrients in your spinach, you should eat it with some vitamin C-rich foods. Strawberries are rich in vitamin C, so you’ll have no problem getting all the health benefits from this smoothie. The almond milk and banana bring a nice creaminess to the smoothie and the vanilla extract gives it that sweet boost.
